The Quintassential occupies an acre of hilltop set in breathtaking Algarvian countryside in the centre of the sunny Algarve in total peace & tranquility 15 minutes from Faro International Airport & the coast and overlooking the town of Loulé which is 5 minutes away.
The main resorts of Vilamoura and Quinta Do Lago are a mere 15 minute drive from the Quintassential and so too are the world famous golf courses and tennis courts.Loule town is main district town and has everything one will need for a holiday, banks, cafes, restaurants, shops, museums etc.
The Quintassential is also ideally located for those who like to explore the countryside and for those who like to bird-watch.
The Quintassential is a restored 19th century farmhouse that has now been tastefully divided up into five cottages that in total sleeps a maximum of 14 people.
The Casa Do Forno Cottage (Bread Oven House) is the smallest of the cottages at Quintassential, a one bedroom rustic duplex cottage tastefully decorated and boasting many original features from the old Quinta including a crows nest lounge. It may be the smallest of the cottages at the Quintassential, but it makes up for it in character. The bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe and sloping cane ceilings with wooden beams and white washed walls. The bathroom has a shower with a tiled seating area, WC and washbasin with a vanity unit under. The "crows nest " lounge area has spectacular views and has a radio/CD player, puzzles, chess set, domino set and playing cards. It is furnished with comfortable cane seats, terracotta flooring and also has the original cane ceiling with wooden beams. The walls are also white washed.
The kitchen/dining area has the original bread oven dating back to the 19th century and original floor tiles from the Quinta. The kitchen comprises of fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, electric kettle, toaster and gas hob. The kitchen/dining area also has the cane ceiling with wooden beams and has the typical Algarvian décor of white washed walls. From the dining area there are doors leading on to a completely private terrace with Bar-B-Q, table with cushioned seating and cushioned reclining chairs. There is also a wood burning stove for the cooler winter evenings.
The Casa Do Forno Cottage has its own garden with a further rustic seating area and is surrounded by an abundance of beautiful flowers and shrubs. Here in the secluded garden you will experience some of the most breathtaking sunsets that the Algarve has to offer. This cottage also has its own private driveway access and carport.

Outside The Quintassential is blessed with panoramic seaviews and spectacular countryside views, just what you need for a tranquil and relaxing holiday. The gardens at Quintassential are marvellous with many bushes, plants and fruit trees, along with quiet areas to relax and absorb the views.
The Quintassential has a large pool area, the pool measures 10 x 5 m and cushioned sun loungers, and parasols etc are provided for the use of the guests.
On arrival the owners will meet you and awaiting your arrival will be a very generous welcome hamper in your accommodation compliments of the house. For all the adult guests, bathrobes are provided for use during their stay, pool towels are provided to use only at the Quintassential and the cottages have hairdryers and alarm clocks.
On selected evenings of the week, there is also an evening meal option. Traditional home cooked Portuguese cuisine is served on the owner's private terrace, which has spectacular views over Loule. What a better way to end your day with a nice meal and a glass of delicious Portuguese wine.
