The Villa

The perfect place for a relaxing holiday, Villa Erbaia lies in the Mugello valley, 35 km from Florence. It offers beautiful views of the Tuscan countryside and over looks the sloping hills down to Lake Bilancino.

The villa was originally built in the 16th Century, and the grounds include a swimming pool with sun terrace, a garden and picnic area, and 3 hectares of land. There is also a consecrated chapel, making it a perfect venue for Weddings.

Whilst the Villa maintains its traditional features and character, including wooden beamed ceilings, frescoes, and fireplaces, it has been renovated to offer all the modern comforts to make your stay as relaxing as possible.

Villa Erbaia is on 3 floors offering 9 large bedrooms (cots are also available), each with modern ensuite bathrooms and a charm of their own; 2 lounge areas with satellite TV, DVD player, air conditioning, dining room and fully equipped kitchen, including laundry facilities

The villa will accommodate from 18 to 22 people using additional sofa beds and can be rented as a whole for group holidays, Weddings and Corporate Events or partially for smaller groups and events.

The Area

The Mugello Valley is the perfect location for exploring Tuscany and beyond, and offers a wide range of activities that will appeal to everyone. A 30 minute drive through the hillside will take you to Florence, with Pisa being just 110 km away and Siena 95km, and you can be in Rome within one and a half hours by train from Florence.

Lake Bilancino, just a 5 minute drive away, offers sailing, skiing, wind surfing and fishing, and other water activities.

There is also an excellent golf, guided excursions, hill walking, motor racing at the Mugello Autodrome.

The surrounding villages have a charm of their own and offer beautiful historic buildings and restaurants.
