Villa Encantada is composed of four separate residences/apartments surrounding a magnificent courtyard with winding paths. The property boasts tropical palms and flowers, a freeform tiled swimming pool, three tiered fountain, lots of outdoor seating and dining areas. Hummingbirds, Flycatchers and Macaws are seen daily.
The design of Villa Encantada is inspired by the the Spanish and Tuscan style. Antique stained glass, locally produced handmade furniture and original art grace the interior. Handmade tile and custom stonework are throughout the property. The villa has approximately 4500 square feet of air conditioned living space and 4000 square feet
outdoors which overlooks the Gulf of Nicoya, the Pacific Ocean and forested mountains.
Villa Encantada was designed and constructed five years ago using
local rock, marble, teak and cypress. The result compliments the
natural beauty of the surrounding beaches, mountains and rain
forests. The open air feeling of vaulted ceilings and French doors
leading to the courtyard and patios blend interior and exterior
spaces.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a professional style gas stove and griddle. We provide cooking utensils and all the dinnerware. Linens and towels are also provided. Daily maid service is also included .
We have many professionals available to make your stay comfortable.
Our excellent chef makes wonderful sushi and he is great with the
outdoor gas grill! In home spa services are easily arranged as well.
Jaco is the closest beach community to San Jose, located 1.5 hours
to the West. The road winds through coffee plantations and has
incredible views. Villa Encantada is located on the southern
end of Jaco beach in a private and safe setting overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Nicoya Penninsula.
